Spineless Academic. Wow! That’s what she is called our President tonight.
The concept itself has some merit-and some history. Us oldies still remember the saying ”Those who can, do. Those who can’t, teach”. But “Spineless Academic”! That has even more bite to it than “Effete Intellectual” .
Sarah took aim and called Barak and his ilk spineless academics. She might just have coined a new slur. Better than the “LameStream Media” she borrowed from Bernie Goldsomething.
Barak: No decision on troops? Nancy and Harry taking full control of healthcare? Holder sponsoring a media circus for terrorists? What do we have here, anyway?
Common folks really like Barak and want him to be a strong and effective leader that changes America for the better and keeps us safe. But common folks are beginning to worry. And they are the swing voters.
Did America really elect a spineless academic? Is he really fronting for a bunch of powerful far left interest groups and Chicago cronies who got him the money and votes he needed to get elected? Is he a Political Puppet? Are the back room politicians all collecting their paybacks? What gives here? Who is this guy, anyway? A talented and brilliant political con man or an intelligent, deliberative, reasonable decision maker? I loved his books and his campaign rhetoric, but only time will tell what kind of leader he will be..
Meanwhile, Sarah has thrown down the gauntlet. Mr. President is guilty of breaking campaign promises like “Bringing Us Together”, “Transparency In Government” and “No More Pork” So Mr. President better quickly start producing what he was elected to produce-or a lot of Democrats are going to lose elections. Sarah is about to fire up conservatives and begins storing up lots of markers for 2012 on this “book tour”.
Lots of folks do love Palin with a passion. However, I think she still isn’t coming across knowledgeable or experienced enough to head a ticket. I think she will raise lots of money. Help friends get elected. But not head a Republican or even an Independent party ticket in 2012. Who will she select to take her to the inaugural dance? Maybe it will be Romney/Palin against Obama/Hillary? Or will she break a leg and star forever on Saturday Night Live? Time will Tell.
