What Sarah Palin Knows That We Don’t

What Sarah Palin knows that we don’t is why the hell she isn’t home getting laid and taking care of the kids.


What is she up to? I can’t watch TV without seeing somebody showing snippets from her Oprah interview and talking about what she did or should have done in the past. But they only come up with lame guesses as to what she has in mind for her future.


She is either so smart she is setting us up for something. And even her supporters don’t want her to be that smart. Or she is so dumb, that she is going to allow herself to be in the spotlight and made fun of all over again.


So far, it looks like this to me… She said she needed money. So she wrote a book, or somebody did, and she had to go on a book tour to promote it.


Well, she sure is an over-achiever. The book reaches the top of the best seller list before anyone reads it, and she’s all over the news getting it publicity. She’s scheduled for appearances on TV other authors would die for. She has created more Buzz than a feminist’s vibrator. But no one is talking about the book, or what’s in the book.


Why are we all getting off on her? I still don’t know. One of the only two comments my blogging has received so far was from Dan in response to my post about Sarah Palin. Dan agreed he hates her, but didn’t really convince me he had the answer to why she touches so many hatestrings and heartstrings. He sounds a bit elitist and condescending. Passionate, but unconvincing. He didn’t even acknowledge much less explain why she has tons of equally passionate supporters. Not a good, reasoned answer.


So maybe she has just given up making sandwiches for all the kids, nurturing the newest one, counseling the rogue daughter and connubial communion with the hunk so she can gain freedoms granted by the possession of lots of money. Our Constitution grants us many valuable freedoms. A large pile of gelt does, too.


We should find out soon. She will continue to dominate the news and Obama will be off the hook for a while from pundits who think he is deliberatative and making good decisions and those who believe he even has a hard time deciding which hand to wipe his ass with. Between the reporting on her clothes, her misspeaks, the size of the crowds she draws, and whether she is the antichrist or a saint, we are sure to get a better idea of what she is up to, if anything.


Me? I’m worried about my bills and my health. My kids and my soul. It’s entertaining, this Sarah stuff. But not very relevant.
